A beautiful August day was the chance for a visit to the Villa Savoye, to which I hadn’t been in years. A few weeks after my visit of the Le Corbusier show at MOMA, it was a real pleasure to connect with Corbu’s work in flesh and blood, as it were.

Paris’s Architecture Museum: La Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine
Tourists parade by all day past the doors of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine. Inside, unbeknownst to them, is a sizable and very worthwhile architecture museum. If you are a curious traveler to Paris, I can only encourage you to push the door of the Palais du Trocadéro and discover what is inside.

I had a chance today to visit the Villa Laroche by Le Corbusier, a building I hadn’t visited since my first year of architecture school, many years ago. Again, it made a strong impression.
